Here is Kelly's (9:30 class) web site.. check it OUT!! Hey, Megan, are you going to teach us yoga??

Remember, everyone, to blog on here next week at least once (maybe on Thursday or Friday) to let us (me, especially) know where you are at with your project. I will try to answer any questions you have with whatever.. ALSO, make sure you watch a movie that deals with technology and the self (like The Matrix) or basically has the main character questioning WHO he/she is as a person.. what their purpose is.. Bicentennial Man would be an example.. they do not HAVE to deal with technology.. but that connection (tech and humans) is the connection we will be bringing up in Unit 3 of this class.

Everyone have a great weekend, a great week, and HAVE FUN with these projects!!
All of you have seem to found GREAT articles... just as an update- here is Joe's (9:30 class) Basketball site that he's working on... and here are two blogs that Nate found: a guy that watched MTV for 24 hours straight, blogging every 30 SECONDS about what he saw, and a gal that bitches about everything .. also another one of Tom and Chad's webpages can be found here..

So glad you are all using this for entertainment and academia. Yea!
I am slowly getting through the papers... they are interesting, don't get me wrong, but I get really bad ADD when it comes to reading 46 papers. Imagine that! I will have them done by next week, I hope, and you can all pick them up then. [Tuesday and Thursday from 8 to 11 in my office: Oct 22/24] I am thinking that I will grade these leniently because A) these are your first college papers, B) many people did different formats as far as organization goes, and C) because I am a nice person. Paper #2 and #3 will be graded with a more evil eye... but no red ink. :-)
Tomorrow in class:
We have odds and ends. I'll talk about Howard Rheingold, you can all chime in with feedback too... I'll go over the changes in the syllabus (hopefully you all printed it off from my syllabus site!!).. Paper #3 changed a bit.. I'll bring up Article Presentations that will happen on Thursday... I'll handback your project descriptions so you can write up your grading rubrics in class for me to see... I'll go over HOW to do a few of the items your projects want to do (Dreamweaver, iMovie, Flash, Powerpoint, websites, etc).. AND then I'll tell you what is up for next week.
